With the ability in Final Cut Pro to write your own plug-in’s it makes it very easy to create some very cool custom effects. I have found a site were a guy by the name of Nattress has gone and created plug-ins for sale. I have used one of them and found it very good, stable and easy to use. It created a very good effect and was very easy to change and control the settings. The effect that I used was the G Film Damage effect. If all the effects are that easy to use I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a different feel from their footage. There are different sets that you can get that are full of different plug-ins that all do different things. On Nattress’s Page he claims that soon there will be Motion plug-ins as well

I found this free plugin cgm-online.com. They have other plugins but this is a free download. There is also a small sample video there you can view online to see if you like it. I thought that it was pretty good for free.
